End of the Year Thoughts

May 31, 2018 By Rene

Well, friends, it’s the end of another school year.

At this time of year, I always take stock of how far we’ve come and how much we still have to accomplish, Jackson and me, on his march to independence.

We have three years left to achieve this before we are done with public school. All parents of children with special healthcare needs and differences know what I’m talking about when I say the transition from all these years of public school is always one of nervousness and hyper planning.

But, for us, the number one thing we have in our corner is Jackson’s intense natural intellect, his willingness to never give up and in Jackson’s words, “I’m going to be successful…because I’m smart and talented.”

He feels confident so I will too!
